Alcohol & Drug Detox
Take the First Step in Your Recovery

What Is Drug & Alcohol Detox?
To begin your recovery journey toward a healthier and happier future, the first step is to detox from your addictive substance. Some people can manage detoxing on their own, but for others, like those addicted to alcohol or benzodiazepines, it’s necessary to undergo medical detox at a specialized center where trained staff monitor your health and ensure you begin your sobriety safely. It’s important to have the right care while you detox as your body adapts to not having the substance — that’s why New Day Recovery Center will be your partner, advocate, and guide to getting you that critical support.

The Care You Need
At New Day Recovery Center, we are here for you during each step of your recovery, which means we’ll make sure you detox the right way for your needs — either through our treatment facility or with one of our partner detox centers. We’re able to offer convenient in-house services for more mild detox needs, where we’ll support and monitor you in the first few days of treatment. We also offer a medication assisted treatment (MAT) option using Suboxone or Vivitrol.
For more intensive detox care, we’ve established relationships with trusted facilities that employ skilled, compassionate doctors to look after you closely while you take this important step. We can match you with one of our partners that’s best suited for you, get you into their detox center swiftly, and seamlessly transition you into our rehab afterwards.
Don’t Worry
We know that addiction can make tasks overwhelming and stressful, especially something as important as going through detox. Our professionals will do all the leg work for you by assessing which tier of detox you need and setting you up with us or one of our detox center partners. On your own, this process can involve personal research, frustrating waiting lists and hoping for returned calls — all while you are in desperate need of treatment. With our detailed information on your mental health history and struggles, we’ll help you select the right detox option so you can begin your sobriety sooner.

What to Expect: New Day After Detox
After going through detox with us or one of our partners, the New Day family is here to guide you through addiction recovery treatment to heal both your mind and body. We offer several tiers of care — including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, and MAT— to help you holistically and compassionately. These care options allow you to gradually move through your recovery and prepare yourself for everyday life without your addictive substance, all while forming lasting bonds with other women who support you.
