Women’s Inpatient Drug Rehab near Lexington, KY

Empowering Women to Live a Fulfilling Life in Recovery

What is Inpatient Rehab Treatment?

Inpatient rehab is the most hands-on level of our drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. Clients live on-site at a rehab facility where they can express complex emotions, receive support from a compassionate community, and work through trauma with highly skilled and devoted professionals.

Our inpatient rehab treatment allows for personal discovery, growth, and healing. Clients participate in behavioral therapies administered in individual, group, and family settings where they unroot the causes of their addiction and learn how to lead a sober life. We host women in a comfortable, organized environment, free from outside triggers or distractions, so they can focus on healing and recovery.

Women’s Only

We recognize that women face unique psychological and physical challenges when working towards sobriety. In our female-only rehabilitation center, we offer a community of sisterhood and family where women can feel more open to talk about their lives and addiction, whether to our specialized staff or with other women who are also struggling with substance abuse. Our clinical team is experienced in treating women with unresolved trauma and mental health problems, as well as other challenges commonly facing women with addiction like pregnancy and childcare.

Customized Treatment Plans

At New Day Recovery Center, we understand the importance of personalized treatment. Our caring team works with each client to determine the specific causes and triggers of their addiction while we learn the healthiest, most sustainable ways to succeed in recovery despite those challenges. We offer individual therapy sessions dedicated to their personal issues, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) customized to their unique case history, and a range of life skills essential to lasting sobriety.

Our inpatient rehab program is flexible and offers various lengths of stay to accommodate our clients’ needs. However, individual progress is closely observed throughout treatment to ensure clients don’t “graduate” too early: women who stay the full recommended program see the highest success rates.

Services Offered During Inpatient Treatment

Woman suffering from mental illness and addiction

Addiction and mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder often overlap. When this happens, it’s called a co-occurring disorder. Our substance abuse counselors are trained and experienced in treating these issues together, and pay special attention to how the disorders may be intertwined with your struggles with addiction.

Individual therapy and group counseling help women work through different aspects of their addiction. One-on-one counseling with our licensed therapists can help clients see the underlying problems that often lead to self-medication and addiction. In our group therapy sessions, women have the opportunity to relate to others with similar issues and discuss how to move forward together.

We understand the impact substance abuse has on the families of our clients. Our family therapy and education program provides the support and care our clients and loved ones need to rebuild the strength and bonds of the family and develop a new framework for productive communication. When both parties are ready, this can be a valuable way for clients to share experiences, and families to begin the process of rebuilding relationships.

Woman learning life skills

People with addiction often struggle with keeping up with day-to-day responsibilities. Life skills training helps clients relearn or improve upon the skills needed to live well. Our caring and compassionate leadership helps women start thinking about how to cope with difficult emotions, deal with stress, manage anger, maintain a schedule, and live independently.
