What Is Residential Addiction Treatment?

As the next step after inpatient care, our residential drug and alcohol treatment program empowers you to further understand your substance use disorder (SUD) and build the toolset you’ll need for recovery. Our residential treatment involves many of the same therapies and services as inpatient, which help you understand your triggers and behaviors, but with a greater focus on starting life in recovery. Clients who complete multiple stages of treatment have been shown to have higher success rates, because they have more time to build coping and life skills in a structured, supportive environment.

Women’s-Only Care

Being surrounded by other women during your treatment provides many unique benefits for your mental health and addiction recovery. After you get sober, you may begin coming to terms with painful memories and past traumas, which is best done in a safe space, free of judgement or stigma and filled with support. During this vulnerable time of reflection, connecting and living with other women who have shared experiences allows you to share your story openly and begin healing with those who understand you.

Customized Treatment Plans

In New Day’s residential addiction treatment program, we’ll provide you with a holistic care plan that’s tailored to your specific needs. Depending on your experience with SUD, our doctors will work with you to make sure you have the most well-rounded therapy and resources to restore your life. The customized nature of your treatment also means that we can recommend a length for your stay that sets you up for a successful recovery. Women who stay for at least 30 days or longer have been shown to have better recovery results and long-term sobriety, because they have more time to get equipped with important life skills.
