Our Addiction Recovery Programs

Richmond woman struggling from detox at group therapy session

One of the first steps towards a lifetime of recovery is the initial process of getting clean, or detoxing. This is best done with professional assistance, especially with substances that require medical supervision. We proudly offer detox services to you from our compassionate team, and can also refer you to one of our medical detox partners for more intensive care if needed.

After completing inpatient treatment, the next phase of your recovery is our residential treatment program. Here, you’ll still stay in the facilities you’re used to, with familiar women. The difference with this program is that we will begin introducing you to crucial life skills that empower you to stay clean and take care of yourself on your own after rehab.

Once you no longer live in our facilities, you can step into a more open-ended treatment program that prepares you even more for daily life outside of New Day Recovery Center. This intensive outpatient program (IOP) allows you to get a taste of what life in recovery will be like outside of treatment while still providing crucial structure. The best of both worlds: you’ll get a chance to build on your skills via therapies during the day and return home or to sober living afterwards.

We offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as a useful part of your recovery at our inpatient Winchester facility, or as an outpatient service at our other location through Lexington Suboxone Doctor. MAT can help you manage debilitating withdrawal symptoms with Suboxone or prevent the intoxicating effects of some substances with Vivitrol. These medications are given by MAT specialists and can help you avoid relapse and discomfort.
